Environmental Engineers with a B.E degree receive a salary anywhere between Rs.20, 000 – Rs.35, 000 pm. Candidates with a postgraduate degree may start with a lucrative salary range of Rs 40,000 – Rs 60,000. Holders of a Ph.D may go up to    Rs 60,000 – Rs 75,000 pm. A licensed engineer can expect a salary of Rs 1 lakh per month.
